For those who have a rear screen but do not have the remote and have wondered how to power the thing on here is the answer - well works for my 2006 with the Toyota 56086 Head unit anyways. Many thanks to Hamid for this solution. I had tried many button combinations, using Google translate etc but could not find it as the button in question would never translate.

Engage parking brake and drop the rear screen down.
Play a DVD or select TV or something that will use the screen.
Press the bottom left hand button on the Head Unit
